The Children's School

The Children's School is a 501(c)(3) not for profit progressive education grade school. Its founder, Daniel Ryan, started the school in 2004 with seven children. Today, the school enrolls over seventy children. Its faculty and administration include two Ph.D's, a J.D., and combined over 100 years of experience.

The Children's School was established in the fall of 2004 and is designed to enhance learning in an environment that encourages the unfolding of children's curiosity. Through discourse, hands-on projects, and age-appropriate curriculum, children's innate love of learning thrives. Children are taught in an environment that supports the achievement of all local and state curriculum goals, in a relaxed manner focused on the child, without standardized testing pressures.

Since 2005, Robert M. Stephenson has been involved with the Children's School in multiple capacities. He served as an at-large board member for three years. During that time the school underwent incredible expansion. Mr. Stephenson re-wrote the by-laws, re-wrote admission contracts, and continues to serve as Of Counsel advising the school on a myriad of legal issues.
